Paddle Marco under New Ownership

Glenn has passed the torch to new owners in October, 2025 after a successful 10 years.  Glenn founded Paddle Marco in late 2015 and built the company from the ground up from a simple rental operation delivering kayaks & paddleboards to homes around Marco Island on the canals.  It blossomed into a tour company in early 2016  and grew gradually year by year.  In 2017, Paddle Marco’s growth allowed Glenn to acquire several competitors, including Kayak Marco and Up a Creek Kayak Tours.  Paddle Marco became a household name for providing kayak shelling rentals at Caxambas park and providing mangrove tunnel tours with a  mix of education, history and humor from Paddlecraft Park. Our tours included free HD photos with a real SLR camera and people loved it.

Glenn wants to thank the nearly 100,000 customers that he personally met or assisted over the last decade on kayak rentals and tours. Glenn also thanks Collier County for allowing small businesses to have access to the water when there’s virtually nothing left. A lot of blood, sweat, mud, mosquitoes, broken bones and a few herniated discs went into this business. Sharing a 20 square feet of boat ramp with the public and competitors that want to knock you off the top isn’t always easy either. It all worked out in the end.
